HARTFORD, CONN.—In a development that further illustrates the company’s steady market expansion, iCleanse announced that fifteen Swift UV units have been installed throughout Mohegan Sun, which is one of the largest entertainment, gaming, dining, and shopping destinations in the United States.
iCleanse is a place-based startup that offers high-definition advertising screens coupled with chemical-free Swift UV (ultraviolet light) devices that disinfect smartphones, a known nexus for COVID, RSV, influenza, and other pathogens.
The Swift UV units have been installed throughout Mohegan Sun, just in time for the peak of the cold and flu season. Swift UV’s technology disinfects potentially infectious diseases from a casino guest’s smartphone within 15 seconds. During this time, a site-specific promotional video can be displayed on the accompanying screen.

Units Promote On-site Merchants
Each Swift UV unit deployed within Mohegan Sun will promote on-site merchants throughout the property. The units can be found in various high-footfall areas, including Mohegan Sun’s two unique casinos, the award-winning Mohegan Sun Arena, the 130,000-square-foot Shops at Mohegan Sun, the Sky Tower hotel lobby, and more.

The Swift UV unit can disinfect any standard smartphone and case.
Promotional content can be delivered to the unit via Wi-Fi, Ethernet connection, or 4G. Swift UV units can be deployed in almost any public space, including airports, museums, hotels, cruise ships, healthcare facilities, office buildings, event spaces, and more. Swift UV clients can manage their advertisements within a content management system (CMS) or have iCleanse secure third-party advertisements.
