NEW YORK—HX: The Hotel Experience, set for November 11 to 12 at the Javits Center in New York City, is now less than two months away. New to the trade show this year is a full conference as well as a new awards program. In addition to the conference sessions, there will be educational sessions on the trade show floor. Each of the above will touch on sustainability-related topics.
The conference will include the following sessions: “HX GenFWD…Your career in Hospitality, Wellness and Design,” “The Fusion of Hospitality Wellness & Design,” and “Please, Not Another Sustainability Pitch…Join the Debate!”
The awards program will include a “Hotel of the Year” award that includes the following criteria: “The hotel has embraced sustainable efforts and/or is taking steps to implement sustainable measures to better their operation and the greater good.” The awards program will also include an “Outstanding Woman in Hospitality Leadership Award.”
Sustainability-related sessions outside of the conference will include: “Going Green in 2018” and “Electric Vehicle Charging Stations—Best Practices in Implementation.”
