The Beacon of the Freed is a Laurentian charity that works against human trafficking in all its forms and supports all victims. In collaboration with key stakeholders in Québec’s tourism industry, it has developed the Glow Program, which is tailored to various sectors, including hospitality, festivals, events, and transportation. The program aims to train professionals to prevent human trafficking and respond appropriately in the event of an incident. The hospitality training program includes online training for managers and employees, awareness and display materials for staff and guests, as well as ongoing personalized support, all free of charge. Glow helps organizations make their establishments safer for both customers and staff without disrupting day-to-day operations.
