PITTSBURGH—The Holiday Inn Select is the first hotel in Pittsburgh to offer its guests what CNN recently predicted to be a trend in the hospitality industry—PURE Allergy Friendly Rooms.
The hotel, soon to be re-branded as a Crowne Plaza, added a block of PURE Allergy Friendly Rooms which will be available to their guests. The contemporary, suburban, full-service hotel is just seven miles to downtown Pittsburgh and features the latest in lodging, decor and technology with superior accommodations, executive suites and extended stay residences.
“The staff at the hotel is very excited about offering this new amenity for our guests,” says Todd J. Reichelt, general manager. “In a market that is growing quickly, the PURE Allergy Friendly Room program allows us to differentiate ourselves.”
There are more than 70 million North Americans suffering from asthma or other allergy conditions. PURE Allergy Friendly Rooms provide guests an environment where every surface is treated to minimize contaminants, irritants and odors. The process covers the entire hotel room from the walls, to the bedcovers, to the air itself.
“We are pleased to add the Holiday Inn Select to our list of hotels that offer their guests an allergy friendly stay,” says Brian Brault, c.e.o. of PURE Allergy Friendly Rooms, Cheektowa, N.Y. “Guests at the Holiday Inn Select will soon join the thousands of guests in the United States who have stayed in a PURE Allergy Friendly Room and experienced increased comfort and peace of mind.”
