TROY, OHIO—Hobart has introduced its new PWn Series Pot, Pan and Utensil Commercial Dishwasher, designed to wash a high volume of prep ware while saving on labor, water and chemicals for foodservice operations.
The PWn features NSF pot and pan rating for 2, 4, & 6-minute cycles designed to clean the toughest food soils off a variety of prep ware. With the ability to accommodate up to 10, 12, or 20 sheet pans per cycle, this high-capacity prep washer ensures food soil removal in any kitchen. The PW20n can wash up to 400 sheet pans per hour, maximizing productivity and eliminating time manually scrubbing, saving valuable labor hours.
The PWn Advansys models now come standard with Complete Delime with Booster Guard, which notifies the operator when to delime, then automatically doses delime chemical into the machine, including the booster heater. This ensures the machine and booster remain free of limescale buildup, extending machine life and reducing downtime.
In addition to saving labor time, the PWn reduces energy and water consumption and delivers cost savings. The PW10n saves over 75,000 gallons of water per year versus a 3-compartment sink in a typical kitchen. On Advansys models, Hobart’s Ventless Energy Recovery technology eliminates the need for direct venting, saving more than $3,500 on vent hood installation costs. The Energy Recovery system contributes to these savings by recycling heat energy from steam back into the dishwasher.
The simple, intuitive Smart Touchscreen is easy to see and use, provides diagnostics and troubleshooting, and connects through WiFi to the Hobart SmartConnect app. This allows managers to track and log temperatures, see how their machine is performing, and get email alerts if there’s an error—features designed to improve productivity and maximize machine uptime.
The new PWn Advansys Prep Washer will be showcased at the National Restaurant Show at Booth #4031 in Chicago May 17 to 20.
