FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA.—Greenwise Bankcard unveils its new, patent pending solutions that help retail merchants, accepting credit and debit cards, improve their bottom line, reduce carbon footprint, and raise donations supporting socially worthy causes and charitable organizations through the point of sale.
Greenwise Bankcard combines credit card processing services, the Green Receipt “paperless-receipt” solution, and the point of sale fundraising program called Donate Wise Now into one easy package called the Green Suite. Combining proprietary technologies certified to a broad base of hardware and software solutions makes it easy to integrate into most merchant locations.
Greenwise, a registered ISO/MSP of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., started their unique business model that goes far beyond the norm in credit card processing services. “In today’s economy, merchants need to reduce operating costs and retain as many customers as possible,” says Robert DiMattina, CEO/president of Greenwise. “The green “paperless” receipt solution is one way to accomplish this. We offer a service that converts point of sale receipts into a digital format that is efficient and environmentally friendly.”
Once the Green Receipt paperless-receipt solution is integrated at the merchant’s point of sale, their customer can say “yes” to paperless receipts over printed receipts. From any browser, the paperless receipt customer may register online at www.planetreceipt.com. This is their “point of sale receipt online hub.” Once registered, they can retrieve, sort, print, e-mail, text or just view their paperless receipt in their real printed format. Customers no longer have to worry about losing a receipt when making a purchase from a Greenwise merchant service location.
Easy Access to Transaction History
Additionally, merchants have their own online access to sort, retrieve, download, e-mail or print on recycled paper the receipt for chargeback disputes or reporting purposes. Green receipts have the regenerated customer signature.
Greenwise Bankcard’s successful launch into the marketplace is also enhanced by their point of sale fundraising program called Donate Wise Now. “This program is combined within our Green Suite, allowing merchant locations to be actual donation points for participating charitable organizations,” DiMattina says.
Studies have shown that more and more charitable organizations are struggling to gain the attention of the consumer at the point of sale with manually-driven, SKU, or even fish-bowl fundraising campaigns. Donate Wise Now offers consumers the option to donate at the point of sale to certain registered nonprofit organizations when they make a credit/debit card purchase. Customers can donate a specific denomination (i.e. $1, $3, or $5) or round up their transaction value to the next dollar.
Reporting of donations is available to the cardholder, the merchant and nonprofit organizations at a proprietary Greenwise portal.
