Interface Finalizes Partnership with The Carpet Recyclers

LAGRANGE, GA.—Interface, a designer and producer of modular carpet tile, is finalizing a strategic partnership with The Carpet Recyclers, a La Mirada, Calif.-based business that, since its establishment two years ago, has diverted more than 150 million pounds of used carpet from West Coast landfills, saved more than 15 million gallons of oil and created more than 100 green jobs. Starwood Announces Plans for Second New Jersey Element

STAMFORD, CONN.—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announced plans to open Element Harrison in summer of 2014, five miles from Newark Liberty International Airport. PRESIDIO OF SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.—The Presidio Trust has completed the renovation of the first overnight accommodations in the Presidio of San Francisco—Inn at The Presidio—the only hotel to open in San Francisco in 2012.
