AKRON, OHIO—GOJO Industries has expanded its global portfolio of green-certified products with certification in Brazil for PURELL Advanced Green Certified Hand Sanitizer.
The new green certified products acknowledgement is ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Standards). PURELL Advanced first earned green certification in 2012 when EcoLogo certified the formulation in the United States, and later gained acknowledgement as GECA (Good Environmental Choice Australia). With the certifications, the GOJO green-certified products portfolio continues to advance the company’s leadership position with highly effective and sustainable formulations.

PURELL Advanced is the only green certified hand sanitizer to meet FDA germ kill requirements with a single 1.2 milliliter dispense. It is part of the green-certified products portfolio known as GOJO GREEN HYGIENE Solutions, which includes foams, lotions and gels in pump bottles and dispenser refills.
PURELL Advanced Instant Hand Sanitizer exceeds FDA Health Care Personnel Hand Wash requirements with 1.2 milliliters of product. This applies to ADX & LTX dispensers with a fully primed pump through 95 percent of refill.
