PLANO, TEXAS—Glass Recycled, a manufacturer of environmentally-friendly products that serve the construction and interior design industry, announces hundreds of new color combinations that are now available for use in their recycled glass countertops, walls, flooring and décor items.

GlassSLAB is the company’s premier product. Made from recycled glass and epoxy in a terrazzo-like manufacturing process, GlassSlab can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, bars and in other countertop applications. Offering the durability of granite, GlassSLAB’s patented process brings the added benefit of nearly limitless color combinations. Whereas granite users may only select from what nature provides and is currently being mined, each piece of GlassSLAB is custom formulated and manufactured from the customers’ specific design input.

Recycled glass itself—including mirror and porcelain finishes—comes in hundreds of colors; and when blended with epoxy to match exact paint color choices, the final combined color choices become limitless. Until recently, the company offered 40 to 50 standard color designs, but design demand encouraged them to modify the selection and add hundreds of new samples to their product line.

Samples Produced Quickly

“Architects, designers and even homeowners have caught on to our philosophy that they can—in fact—have just about any color countertop they would like, and have started getting very creative in their choices,” said company owner and inventor of the exclusive recycled glass product Tim Whaley. “Since we have the ability to quickly produce actual samples, they not only can conceive but can actually touch and feel the final product before making a final decision.”

To help this process, the company has just unveiled a new showcase on its website where designers can view color choices of glass and epoxy colors and create their own custom design, which is then created at Glass Recycled’s manufacturing plant and shipped to the designer.

GlassSLAB countertops are available in a variety of sizes and since the product is all custom-produced, virtually any countertop area can be achieved. GlassSLAB countertops already grace hundreds of luxury homes, restaurants, and a variety of business including banks, office buildings, schools and more. It is cost-effective, durable and easy to maintain as well as environmentally-friendly.

In addition to GlassSLAB for countertop use, the firm has created three additional sub-brands. GlassPLANK is the company’s recycled glass flooring and wall panel product. GlassDECOR can be transformed into uniquely designed interior products such as table tops, glass panels, ceiling tiles and other imaginable applications and GlassSCAPE is loose, bagged recycled glass and porcelain aggregate product that can be used as a permanent alternative to groundcover, mulch or used in fountain and aquariums.
