SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH—As rapid growth in demand for clean, chemical-free solutions for odor control and moisture management fuels expansion, FUZE Technologies has launched “FUZE University.” Located at their new headquarters in Salt Lake City, FUZE University will become a regular event.

Designed to be a week-long educational and networking opportunity for their rapidly growing base of mills, brands, and manufacturers, the first summit brought together a global collective of FUZE partners from Asia, South America, and Europe.

“FUZE is a fantastic solution for brands and mills looking to increase apparel and textile performance while cutting down on their use of dangerous and polluting chemicals,” said Andrew Peterson, Chief Technology Officer for FUZE Technologies. “With demand increasing rapidly, it became apparent that hosting our partner brands here in Salt Lake City was necessary to keep everyone up to speed on our latest tech and how best to leverage it.”

Brands and mills including Active Apparel Group, Global Shine Trading Co., Ltd, portance, Texwell Textile, WTS – World Textile Sourcing, Inc., and FUZE Technologies Asia sent representatives to learn more about the technical aspects of the FUZE tech, while gaining powerful insights into best practices around marketing and brand adoption.

Applied as a light mist or via pad bath to a substantial number of materials—including textiles, hard surfaces, and even down insulation—FUZE leverages the natural antibacterial properties of silver particles to create a permanent treatment that fights odors, accelerates evaporation, and protects against UVA and UVB radiation.
