MENTON, OHIO—EYE Lighting International, a manufacturer of lamps, luminaires and related lighting products, announced that its Cera Arc ceramic metal halide ED mogul base lamp has been accepted by the IES for the 2011 Progress Report.

The EYE Cera Arc lamp, available in 100W and 150W models, offers superior maintained lumens resulting in significant energy savings. For example, the EYE 150 watt CMH lamp delivers equivalent designed light levels as a typical 250 watt competitive model. With a rated life of 24,000 hours, twice that of the 250W lamps, the EYE Cera Arc reduces maintenance costs as well. Other features include an efficacy rating of 117 lpw, bright white light (3700K), CRI up to 80, universal mounting positions, and a special coating on the T-shape that blocks 90 percent of UV radiation. EYE ED lamps also meet EPA/TCLP criteria for non-hazardous waste.

The EYE Cera Arc is designed with a mogul base, making it ideal for both new construction and maintenance applications. Customers can replace existing 250w and 175w lamp systems with the EYE Cera Arc and respective ballasts in applications such as parking lots, roadways, sidewalks, area lighting, factories and warehouses.

“We are pleased the IES has recognized this important new EYE lamp as one of the best new products in 2011,” said Rob Freitag, vice president of marketing. “Inclusion in the Progress Report is a great honor, and confirms comments from our customers who are highly satisfied with its performance.”
