LAS VEGAS—Crave Interactive, a leading developer of cloud-based digital guest service solutions for hotels, announced an integration partnership with award-winning hotel room-control technology company INTEREL, to integrate innovative room control features into the Crave in-room guest tablets.

This partnership marks a pivotal advancement for Crave as a world leader in guestroom technology. By integrating the INTEREL room-control API into the Crave guestroom tablets, Crave now offers its clients a wide range of room controls at the guest’s fingertips that include control of lighting, temperature, drapery, privacy, and staff service requests. All of these innovative features are neatly controlled from Crave’s guest tablet.

INTEREL is a global provider of energy management and advanced guestroom management systems (GRMS). Innovating the in-room control space, INTEREL transforms today’s hotel room into a future-ready platform with an infrastructure that adapts to technology needs and guest demands over time. The company provides a powerful API for controls that efficiently manages control of an entire hotel guestroom right at a guest’s fingertips.

“The guest experience, including how the guest interacts with in-room technology and features, is of the utmost importance to INTEREL,” noted Florian Gallini, INTEREL CEO. “Our partnership with Crave provides guests with more options for controlling their environment, leading to an improved experience overall.”

Crave deployed its first live INTEREL integration in The Ruby Collection on the Gold Coast of Australia, allowing guests to control the room ambiance with a couple of clicks.

“It is fantastic for the first project to go live at The Ruby Collection in Australia with INTEREL,” said Tim Butterworth, Chief Commercial Officer of Crave. “The integration is very slick, and we look forward to working together on many other opportunities in the future to improve the guest experience for our mutual customers.”
