RALEIGH, N.C.—CaraGreen, a leading distributor of sustainable building materials, announced a new brand partnership with Timber Slab Tables, a North Carolina-based company founded in 2022 by veteran John Dill. Timber Slab Tables specializes in handcrafted, live-edge wood furniture and tabletops, rescuing unique hardwoods from trees felled in storms or marked as fall risks. This partnership enhances CaraGreen’s portfolio with bespoke, domestically made pieces that offer exceptional natural beauty and a powerful story of sustainability and reclamation.
Each Timber Slab Tables piece is crafted from sustainably sourced hardwoods, including species acquired through an indigenous-owned and operated mill in Costa Rica and from collaborations with the Amish community in Ohio. Their meticulous process, which includes air-drying for two to three years and kiln-drying down to an industry-leading 8 percent moisture content, ensures structural integrity and minimizes warping over time. Timber Slab Tables products balance the raw, organic aesthetics of natural wood with high performance and durability, perfect for both commercial and residential projects.
