SAN DIEGO—Cali Bamboo has added paneling and wainscoting to its extensive line of environmentally friendly bamboo products. Also new from Cali Bamboo are marbled flooring and plywood, and all-natural bamboo candles.
Cali Bamboo paneling is a simple and affordable solution to covering walls, ceilings, bars and wainscoting. Constructed by securing uniform bamboo slats to a thin mesh fabric, bamboo panels add a rustic sense of nature to any decor or theme. The panels come in a variety of colors and patterns. The panels can be attached to surfaces using standard adhesive products or a brad nailer.
Cali Bamboo paneling products are 4 feet wide and 8 feet long. The bamboo slats that comprise the panels are uniformly 11/16 inches wide and attach to a mesh fabric backing that rolls up for easy handling.
Several Environmental Benefits

Cali Bamboo’s marbled, “fossilized” flooring offers commercial builders, interior decorators and remodelers an alternative styling. The marbled flooring is within Cali Bamboo’s Fossilized Flooring Series, which has twice the density and strength of almost any other flooring in the world. Janka Hardness Test results average 3,000 lbs./square inch, making it ideal for commercial applications, high traffic areas, radiant heat systems or anywhere else that an indestructible floor is required. Forged from a unique process that entails compressing and intertwining the fibers, a dense block of “fossilized” bamboo is formed. The block is then milled using precision, laser-guided machines before the final scratch-resistant curing phase.
Cali Bamboo’s marbled bamboo plywood is a unique combination of both traditional bamboo plywood in combination with the “fossilized” flooring technology to create a bamboo plywood that is distinct and unique. Marbled bamboo plywood can be used as an alternative material for countertops, furniture board or cabinetry.
Cali Bamboo candles are handcrafted in the United States using 100 percent all-natural materials. Each candle is made from hand-selected moso bamboo poles, which are then filled with a slow-burn wax made from coconut lime-scented 100 percent soybean oil and accented with a Feng Shui luck wealth coin. Since each section of bamboo is hand selected, hand finished and entirely unique, every candle is a one-of-a-kind.
