BAINBRIDGE, ISLAND—Abnormals Anonymous, a new west coast wallpaper studio spirited by a husband/wife duo who remain anonymous, premieres the Living Colours series. The made-to-order collection bursting with big, bold, colorful blossoms will include three patterns in a total of six colorways. Living Colours makes an impact in both residential and hospitality spaces, and is available through design showrooms and selected retailers.
Living Colours is fully customizable and eco-friendly. The designers use non solvent, VOC-free inks on all of their papers and can print on a variety of materials, including smooth and textured paper, type II vinyl, and a new recycled medium that contributes to LEED points.
There are three patterns:
Floria, the larger than life poetic floral is offered in one colorway, Amelie, 34” wide, 19” vertical repeat; printable on paper, type II vinyl, or recycled media.
This’ll is a whimsical botanical offered in two colorways, Make You Whistle and Be My Year,
41.5” wide, 8.25” vertical repeat; printable on paper, type II vinyl, or recycled media.
Anthemum is a dramatic bursting mum is offered in three colorways, Tickle, Fantasia and Amadeus, 45.75” wide, 18” vertical repeat; printable on paper, type II vinyl, or recycled media.
The partners draw inspiration from the beauty of nature’s oddities. The wallpapers are designed by the duo to speak to a refined audience with a curiosity for uncommon design. Eco-minded process includes printing all of the papers with non-solvent and VOC-free inks. A new commercial strength ground material made from 31 percent post consumer recycled content (can contribute to LEED credits) is offered. Papers are fully customizable, from changeable palette and ground material to one-of-a-kind, site specific design.
