TRAVELERS REST, S.C.—T&S Brass and Bronze Works has released a new brochure detailing models, features and options for its ChekPoint line of electronic sensor faucets, including new models with above deck electronics that are especially suited for commercial kitchen applications. T&S electronic sensor faucets are made of chrome-plated brass, require no sealants, are ADA-compliant, and boast a wide range of convenient features, including:
• adjustable temperature control mixing valve;
• adjustable automatic time-out feature;
• adjustable water shut-off delay;
• troubleshooting LED indicator lights and low battery indicator light;
• scratch-resistant sensor lens and modular quick-release sensor connections;
• solenoid valve with serviceable strainer filter;
• check valves for cross-flow prevention in all models; and
• electric plug-in (AC), battery (DC) and hydrogenerator (-HG model) power options.
EC_HARDWIRE and EC-EASYWIRE installation options are also available, allowing gang-installation of up to eight faucets on a single power supply.
“Sensor faucets save so much water and energy,” says Jeff Baldwin, Engineering Manager at T&S. “In water audits we do for our customers, it’s not uncommon to see savings of as much as a gallon per hand wash when a facility converts from traditional faucets. The hygiene factor— the fact that spreading germs and cross-contamination is virtually eliminated with sensor faucets—is another major reason to go hands-free.”
