SAN DIEGO—HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, a leading distributor of maintenance, repair and operations products to the multifamily, hospitality and healthcare industries, announced that Steve Ince has joined the company as its new general manager of the Canadian Facilities Maintenance division.
In this role, Ince is responsible for the financial management, sales and operational performance of HD Supply Facilities Maintenance Canada. In addition, he will focus on developing customer relationships and enhancing satisfaction through operational excellence. Ince will report directly to Anesa Chaibi, president and CEO, HD Supply Facilities Maintenance.
“Steve is a proven marketing and sales leader,” Chaibi said. “He knows both the industry and market exceptionally well, making him an ideal fit for Facilities Maintenance Canada.”
Prior to joining HD Supply, Ince served as the vice president of Acklands-Grainger, Inc., where he helped build a national account sales team, repositioned the company’s catalog and led strategic customer segmentation, pricing and e-Business initiatives. Preceding that, he was the vice president of marketing at Tip Top Tailors, a leading Canadian menswear chain, where he led the company’s core-customer focus initiatives, resulting in an increased average transaction size and used database marketing to increase buyer frequency as well as develop stronger customer relationships.
Ince holds an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s in Economics from York University.
