Mattress Recycling Council Launches Sleep Products Sustainability Program

SACRAMENTO, CALIF.—The Mattress Recycling Council (MRC) has launched the Sleep Products Sustainability Program (SP2), a new environmental certification and sustainability initiative for mattress manufacturers in the state of California. NATIONAL REPORT—For guests staying multiple nights at a hotel, the ubiquitous towel/linen reuse program has been an effective way to keep towels out of the laundry. Marriott Hotel Saves Thousands with MEIKO Dishwasher

NASHVILLE, TENN.—MEIKO, U.S.A., a global leader in the commercial warewashing industry, announced the release of a report by Frontier Energy that found changing to a MEIKO M-iQ flight-type dishwashing machine saved the San Ramon Marriott hotel in San Ramon, Calif., more than $23,000 a year. The report compares two flight-type rackless conveyor dishwashers.
