ORLANDO, FLA.—Travel + Leisure Co., a leading membership and leisure travel company, announced it received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023 to 2024 Corporate Equality Index, the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. Travel + Leisure Co. joins the ranks of 545 major U.S. businesses that also earned top marks this year.

The results of the 2023-2024 CEI showcase how U.S.-based companies are promoting LGBTQ+ friendly workplace policies in the U.S. and abroad. These critical non-discrimination protections cover 21 million employees in the U.S. and around the globe. The Travel + Leisure Co. efforts in satisfying all the CEI’s criteria earned a score of 100 and the designation as recipient of the Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion.

The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria falling under four central pillars: non-discrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families, supporting an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.

The company was also named by the National Business Inclusion Consortium (NBIC) as a 2023 Top 50 Best-of-the-Best Corporation for Inclusion, and by the National Veteran Owned Business Association as one of the 2023 Best Corporations for Veteran’s Business Enterprises (BCVBE).

Companies Committed to Diversity & Inclusion

The NBIC Best-of-the-Best list of corporations in America showcases companies committed to diversity and inclusion across all communities, determined by the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) in collaboration with its partners in the NBIC.

The National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA) also included Travel + Leisure Co. on their Top 2023 Best Corporations for Veteran’s Business Enterprises, an annual list recognizing the best U.S. corporations committed to working with veteran-owned businesses in 2023.
