Hawaii Sets Ambitious 2045 Renewable Energy Sources Goal

HONOLULU—Governor David Ige’s signature earlier this week makes official a law that requires all of Hawaii’s electricity to be produced from renewable energy sources no later than 2045. ST. PETERSBURG, FLA.—Duke Energy Florida has received approval to build, own and operate a 5-megawatt solar facility that will serve the Reedy Creek Improvement District near Orlando.
