DALLAS—Hunger Action Month is next month. One hotel company doing its part to alleviate hunger is Omni Hotels & Resorts. Since 2016, the company has donated over 20 million meals to families in need through its Say Goodnight to Hunger program in partnership with Feeding America. The initiative supports food banks in all 42 communities where Omni operates, helping provide nutritious meals to children, families, and seniors facing food insecurity.
The success of Omni Hotels & Resorts’ efforts is not only because of efforts at the property level but also due to initiatives such as the PGA TOUR “Birdies-or-Better” partnership. As the Official Hotel of the PGA TOUR, Omni Hotels & Resorts provides four meals for a family in need for every birdie-or-better made during each PGA TOUR event. More than 1.5 million meals have been donated so far thanks to that partnership.
Omni Dallas, Omni Nashville, Omni Fort Worth, and Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate have each donated more than one million meals since the beginning of Say Goodnight to Hunger. The Omni Richmond has donated more than 500,000 meals and the Omni Frisco at The Star and Omni ATL at The Battery have each donated more than 250,000 meals. The top-contributing property in 2025 (so far) is the Omni Orlando at ChampionsGate (74,318 meals this year alone).
For each completed stay at any Omni, one meal is donated to a family in need. Next month, Omni will double down on its impact, by donating two meals for every completed leisure or group stay between September 1 to 30.
For Say Goodnight to Hunger, more than 5,000 Omni associates have volunteered in their local communities, investing nearly 7,000 hours of their personal time.
