Study Confirms Capability of Laundry Wastewater Recycling Technology to Reduce Utility Expenses

WTM Report: Green Issues High on Travel Trade Agenda

LONDON—The vast majority of travel companies consider sustainability to be important to their business, according to the World Travel Market 2014 Industry Report. Westgate Resorts Raises Minimum Pay to $10 Per Hour

ORLANDO, FLA.—David Siegel, founder and CEO of Westgate Resorts, announced a company-wide increase in minimum pay for its team members to $10 per hour, effective January 1, 2015. ATLANTA—The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) was recently awarded LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a rating system for the design, operation and maintenance of green buildings. Baha Mar Adds 300 Coral Antlers to Resort’s Eco-Reef

NASSAU, THE BAHAMAS—The marine environment at Baha Mar continues to flourish, with the introduction of more than 300 coral antlers to the $3.5 billion resort’s eco-reef experience.The eco-friendly coral antlers were installed in July, adding to the artificial eco-reef experience at Baha Mar. U.S. Green Building Council Announces Extension of LEED 2009

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced that it will allow LEED users to register projects under the LEED 2009 rating system until October 31, 2016. The original date for LEED 2009 registration to close was June 15, 2015.
