While most consumers are now well aware of the importance of being green, Vivètique’s Eco-Lux is an eco-friendly mattress that is also non-toxic, the next evolutionary step to green, created with the health of consumers and the planet in mind.
“Many mattress manufacturers are still creating chemical-based products, and the cost of these commercial products can be high with long-term health concerns for families and increased environmental pollution caused by their manufacture and disposal,” said Steve Carwile, CEO and president of Vivètique. “Our Eco-Lux mattress is a healthy, environmentally responsible alternative to chemical mattresses and is made with our Pure Grow Wool, so consumers can rest chemical free and guilt free.”
The Eco-Lux mattress combines two types of natural latex for support and comfort. It is made without toxic chemicals such as flame-retardants and boric acid. The Eco-Lux is hand crafted using more than 60 pounds of 100 percent organic cotton and 30 pounds of Pure Grow Wool alongside two inches of 100 percent natural Talalay latex. Fully customizable with three layers or “zones” to the bed for varying degrees of firmness, the Eco-Lux also has a removable zippered top and can be easily rolled and packaged in a box and shipped via UPS.
Vivètique’s mattresses, pillows and top-of-bed items have always used only the cleanest and purest natural fibers of the highest quality, and its trademark line of Pure Grow Wool products follows organic agricultural practices. Unlike some “green” cotton, which is not grown under any certified standards, Vivètique’s cotton products are made only from unbleached, un-dyed and certified organic cotton fibers.
