SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF.—Native Trails, a leading manufacturer of artisan-crafted, sustainable kitchen and bath products, has released the Winemaker Series. The bath vanity and mirror furniture collection are meticulously handcrafted on California’s central coast and utilizes upcycled oak staves reclaimed from local wineries after their useful life in the winemaking process has ended.

During the fermentation process, these staves—made from solid French and American white oak—absorb the wine’s flavor and aroma for months, enhancing the wood’s exceptional character and grain. Once salvaged, the oak staves are dried thoroughly and brushed to remove wine residue, then planed to a buttery smooth, soft finish, showcasing the natural beauty and character of the wood. After each piece is built, it is carefully sanded to provide a tactile experience that’s further enhanced by a protective, hand-applied stain.

Distinguished by intricately placed horizontal slatting and generous graining, the Winemaker Series touts five distinct pieces, including 30-inch and 48-inch freestanding bath vanities, a floating vanity, and two mirror sizes. The bath vanities feature open shelving and spacious, soft-close drawers with discretely integrated pulls, providing ample storage. Contemporary with a classic twist, the Winemaker Series is available in two finishes—Cask Oak, a versatile, nutty brown, and Charred Oak, a timeless, washed black hue.
