SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF.—Native Trails, a leader in artisan-crafted, sustainable kitchen and bath products with large-scale availability, exhibited for the seventh time at Boutique Design New York (BDNY) on November 10-11, 2024, at New York’s Jacob Javits Center. Attendees had the opportunity to review the brand’s new product offerings—including the Winemaker Series bath vanity and mirror collection and the opulent blue-green Ocean finish added to its popular NativeStone line.
“We love finding artisans who are excited to grow and evolve with designs and techniques, while respecting and preserving their roots and artistic traditions,” says Naomi Neilson, Founder and CEO of Native Trails. “They help us pursue our passion for creating contemporary, useful, beautiful, and sustainable products for the hospitality industry that also allow us to introduce new materials, styles, and artisan heritage to the community.”
Handcrafted in the USA, the Winemaker Series honors Central California’s wine country through sustainable design practices and forward-thinking design. Inspired to give a second life to a quality material regularly discarded or incinerated after use, Native Trails utilizes upcycled wine-soaked white oak staves reclaimed from local wineries and transforms them into elegant and generously grained bath furniture. The series includes five distinct pieces, including 30-inch and 48-inch freestanding bath vanities, a floating vanity, and matching mirrors. Winemaker vanities feature spacious, full-extension drawers with discretely integrated pulls, soft-close Blum glides, and have a U-channel for the P-Trap. The Winemaker Series is available in two striking finishes—Cask Oak, a versatile, nutty brown, and Charred Oak, a timeless, washed black hue.
A tribute to Native Trails’ headquarters on California’s central coast, the Ocean finish is available for bathroom sinks and bathtubs in Native Trails’ popular NativeStone Collection. The harmonious blend of soothing blues and verdant greens captures the essence of seaside tranquility, inviting a sense of calm and relaxation into any space it graces. NativeStone products, including those in the new Ocean finish, are handcrafted by artisans in Vietnam using a groundbreaking combination of natural jute fiber and cement. The concrete material is 40 percent lighter and highlights a growing emphasis on sustainable manufacturing practices and responds to the increasing demand for sustainable alternatives. Now offered in six transitional finishes, each piece within the NativeStone line embodies the skill and passion of the brand’s artisan partners: bringing unique, handcrafted touches of luxury to hospitality spaces across North America.
