BETHESDA, MD.—For more than four decades, Marriott International and Children’s Miracle Network (CMN), a nonprofit dedicated to raising funds for 170 local children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada, have shared a simple but powerful goal: helping children live healthier, brighter lives. That commitment was on full display this year at CMN’s annual Elevate conference, where Marriott served as a sponsor and celebrated milestone moments.

In 2025 alone, Marriott International properties across the U.S. and Canada raised $8.4 million for Children’s Miracle Network, marking a record-breaking year for the partnership. For the first time ever, Marriott also raised $1 million CAD in Canada, bringing the company’s total support of CMN to $178 million over 43 years. These funds help CMN deliver life-saving treatments and surgeries, purchase critical medical supplies, fund innovative research, and more.

Marriott’s spirit to serve was front and center at Elevate, where Marriott sponsored key moments including the CMN Champions Parade, in which ambassadors for CMN and their local children’s hospitals opened the conference and were cheered on by a packed room of attendees including CMN’s co-founder Marie Osmond and Chief FUN-Raiser actor Adam Devine. Marriott leaders, including Mark Gaber, Chief Operations Officer, U.S. East, and Apoorva Gandhi, Senior Vice President of Community Engagement and Business Councils, joined more than 40 of Marriott’s general managers and Business Council chairs representing the company’s top fundraising hotels—a powerful reflection of how associates and property teams across the portfolio bring Marriott’s commitment to Serve Our World to life every day.

As one of Marriott’s leading charitable partners in the U.S. and Canada, Marriott’s efforts with Children’s Miracle Network are rooted in its core value to Serve Our World. CMN’s work is life-changing and Marriott is honored to be a part of it.

Marriott’s Mark Gaber Honored

The conference also recognized Marriott’s impact through awards honoring Mark Gaber, who holds a seat on the Children’s Miracle Network Corporate Partnerships & Subcommittee board, as Corporate Person of the Year and Marriott International’s Business Councils for Excellence in Fundraising Innovation, underscoring the scale, consistency, and creativity of the company’s fundraising efforts.

“Marriott’s commitment goes far beyond fundraising—it’s about showing up with heart, leadership, and an unwavering belief in what’s possible for kids. As our first corporate partner, their support over more than 40 years has helped hospitals deliver lifesaving care where it’s needed most, right in their local communities,” says Aimee Daily, PhD, President and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

The relationship between Marriott and CMN also plays an important role in Marriott’s Serve 360 social impact and sustainability platform, which includes a goal to positively impact 5 million children by 2030. Through fundraising, volunteerism, and long-term collaboration with organizations like CMN, Marriott continues to strive to be a force for good in communities around the world.

As Marriott and Children’s Miracle Network look ahead, the Elevate conference served not just as a celebration of what’s been achieved, but as a reminder of what’s possible when purpose, partnership, and people come together to improve kids’ health and change the future.
