The DUO Mock Duvet Cover is uniquely constructed for a better fit at the bottom of the bed for a contemporary and clean aesthetic, pairing seamlessly with the patented Advantiva blanket to form the Top of Bed (TOB) System. As an ideal product to help hoteliers reduce operational costs and streamline housekeeping efficiency, the DUO TOB System allows staff to make guest beds quicker and easier, providing average time savings of approximately 60 percent as it relates to making each bed. This equates to approximately two hours of labor time per day, allowing housekeeping teams to maximize their efficiency when turning over guestrooms.
Having recently been awarded a silver medal by EcoVadis in recognition of the company’s sustainability achievements, the DUO Mock Duvet Cover is a testament to Manchester Mills’ commitment to thoughtful, actionable environmental and social responsibility. DUO’s manufacturing production times are approximately two times faster than traditional duvet covers. This product utilizes 44 percent less fabric, allowing more product to be laundered at once and nearly 45 percent more product to fit within a 20-foot shipping container, leading to a reduction in shipping emissions. DUO is also processed through the Guest Ready Continuous Wash Process Systems program, which does not require linens to be washed before first use, allowing properties to use it right out of the box, saving water and energy consumption, labor, and time, and supporting sustainability efforts.
The patent pending DUO TOB System is made without the use of harmful chemicals. Certification by the international Standard, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and AZO-free processing provides assurance that products have been tested for harmful substances and that they are harmless for human health.
