DULUTH, MINN.—As part of their ongoing commitment to preserve the environment and foster appreciation for the outdoors, Duluth-based and sustainably-driven outdoor furniture brand Loll Designs is proud to present their latest donation to Chester Bowl Improvement Club on Friday, January 16. This latest donation builds on Loll’s 2025 milestone of surpassing $100,000 in total contributions, demonstrating the company’s mission to support outdoor access for all.

“We are so grateful for the multi-year support of Loll Designs,” said Dave Schaeffer, Executive Director of Chester Bowl. “Their early donations provided the match we needed to apply for and receive a grant from the State of Minnesota. And now that we will be building in 2026, their donation is helping bring us to the finish line. The renovated and expanded Chalet will serve generations of future nature and recreation enthusiasts.”

As the company has grown and evolved over the years, Loll’s dedication to giving back has grown right alongside it. Now in their 18th year as a 1% for the Planet member, Loll has donated 1% of the gross sales from all pieces of their bestselling flagship Lollygagger collection to charitable groups that work to connect people to nature, a shared ethos upheld by both the company as a whole and the passionate individuals behind it.

“We’re excited to extend our support to Chester Bowl Improvement club for a sixth year,” said Eric Swanson, CEO of Loll Designs. “It’s a privilege that we have such a great partner in Duluth for our younger generations to enjoy the outdoors all year round. We’re also thrilled that Chester is able to start construction in 2026 on the updated chalet, and we can’t wait to see it complete.”

Loll’s donations to Chester Bowl will extend to other organizations as well, including Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores (COGGS), Hartley Nature Center, Friends of the Boundary Waters, and Voyager Conservancy. From outdoor recreation, education, conservation, and more, Loll is proud to support groups leading the charge to get people outdoors.
