TORRANCE, CALIF—LEDtronics announces its new series of tunable, multimode LED flat panel lights with selectable wattage and white color temperature. The UL-listed panels feature standby dimming, as well as an adjustable occupancy/daylight sensor.

Available in 1×4, 2×2 and 2×4 ft sizes, the “CT” series of tunable LED flat panel lights are ideal replacements for fluorescent fixtures and tube lights in recessed luminaires. Their ultra slim profile fits seamlessly into standard dropped troffer and parabolic fixtures in most T-bar ceilings to deliver adjustable ambient lighting for interior spaces.

Offering the flexibility to customize wattage in 5 watt increments and adjust color temperature from 3000 Kelvin (warm white) to 5000 Kelvin (pure white), these thin panels have the capability to provide desired ambiance in an industrial or commercial space. Occupancy and ambient light sensing increase visual comfort and energy savings in offices, retail spaces, hotels, resorts, conferences rooms, classrooms, and healthcare environments.

The Title 24 compliant panels also feature a fully adjustable occupant and daylight sensor, as well as standby dimming level and time period.

Three Wattage Ranges

The tunable LED panel lights are offered in three wattage ranges: 30-45w, 35-50w, and 55-72w. They operate within a voltage range of 100-277VAC, delivering a total light output ranging from 2903 lumens at 30 watts, to 8030 lumens at 72 watts.

The luminaires offer energy savings of up to 75 percent over fluorescent fixtures and tubes. As an example, a LEDtronics 2×4 ft panel light at 35 watts replaces two 32W fluorescent T8 tube fixtures, while at 72 watts it replaces four 40W T8 fluorescent tube fixtures. Additionally, the minimal lamp heat output of LEDs over that produced by fluorescent tubes keeps temperatures in offices and hallways optimally lower, saving building air-conditioning costs.

The solid-state design of the “CT” LED panel lights renders them impervious to shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental extremes, while RoHS compliance ensures they are free of toxic metals such as lead or mercury. Their LM80-rated SMD LEDs provide high-lumen and high-CRI uniform illumination in a 120° wide beam, free of UV/IR radiation or RF interference.

In addition to directly replacing fluorescent troffers in most standard recessed T-bar ceilings, the luminaire series can also be surface mounted with optional aluminum surface mounting frames, or ceiling suspended with optional steel wire cables.
