SAN DIEGO—Kirei, a provider of innovative, sustainable acoustic design materials for commercial interiors, introduces five new acoustic baffles to the Lit Collection: Hyperfly Baffle Lit, O Baffle Lit, A Baffle Lit, V Baffle Lit, and H Baffle Lit. Expanding the collection’s integrated approach to acoustics and lighting, the new designs bring architectural rhythm, acoustic comfort, layered illumination to open ceilings, offering more opportunities to shape the experience of a space from above.

Defined by linear forms, the suspended baffles add structure and scale to open ceilings in large, high-volume environments. Every design can be specified with integrated lighting or as a purely acoustic element, making it possible to combine illuminated and non-illuminated forms within a single ceiling composition.

  • HyperFly Baffle Lit introduces a finned profile that creates texture and repetition overhead. Light catches the edges of each fin, accentuating depth and casting subtle shadow lines across the ceiling. The result is a ceiling element that contributes acoustic control and visual energy in workplaces, hospitality settings, and education environments.
  • A Baffle Lit features a distinctive A-shaped form that establishes a crisp, angular ceiling plane. Its geometry lends itself to lobbies, collaboration areas, and gathering spaces where acoustics and architectural character carry equal weight.
  • V Baffle Lit is defined by a simple angled profile and concealed hardware. Whether arranged in continuous runs or larger compositions, the form draws the eye across the ceiling and introduces a sense of direction, rhythm, and order overhead.
  • H Baffle Lit uses a repeating H-shaped profile to create pattern at scale. The strong geometry breaks up expansive ceiling planes, making it particularly effective in large open environments where definition and acoustic control are needed.
  • O Baffle Lit takes a more restrained approach with a clean rectangular profile and balanced proportions. Equally suited to focused work areas, public spaces, and educational settings, it serves as a versatile foundation for both understated and expressive ceiling designs.

Each baffle is available in three standard lengths, over 40 through-panel colors, and is compatible with Kirei Ink, enabling custom graphics, patterns, and natural textures across forms. Made from recycled PET with at least 60 percent post-consumer content, the designs support material transparency through published HPDs and EPDs and contribute to LEED and WELL building standards.

With five new baffle profiles, the Lit Collection offers designers a broader toolkit for shaping acoustics, light, and form overhead.
