JASPER, IND.—Indiana Furniture began taking orders on the new KickStart Lounge, a modern collection designed to address a wide range of applications for social workplaces and community spaces.

KickStart’s flexible lounge and table offerings combine with collaborative elements to create inviting spaces for people to gather, work, re-energize, and learn. The collection’s classic forms and refined scale are enhanced through precise details, tailored upholstery available with contrasting fabrics, and a horizontal stitch detail. Two back styles, with or without a pillow, combine with upholstery options to create a versatile aesthetic ranging from casual to sophisticated. Freestanding and modular pieces allow specifiers and designers to outfit facilities and environments in a variety of ways.

“The KickStart collection enables organizations to work in new, more collaborative ways while also providing private or touchdown spots for individual employees,” says Mike Blessinger, VP of Sales & Marketing for Indiana Furniture. “We developed this line to help outfit the changing landscape of working spaces, bringing alternatives to conventional desks and meeting spaces, and helping to bridge the shift between focused, heads-down tasks and interactive team discussions throughout the workday.”

The collection was designed in conjunction with award-winning CSD Studio, based out of Grand Rapids, Mich. The idea behind KickStart was to offer a modern, minimal aesthetic coupled with functional elements to meet the needs of today’s working environments.

KickStart Lounge considers the environment by using renewable and recyclable materials, allowing it to achieve indoor air and BIFMA level certifications.
