SEATTLE—Impex Development LLC and Whirlpool Corp. have formed a marketing partnership to provide distinctive and sustainable interiors based on realistic price points for the hospitality industry. The partnership will incorporate energy-efficient appliances from Whirlpool Corp. within Impex’s manufacture of eco-friendly kitchens, baths and architectural door systems.

“Both companies are passionate about making it easier for hospitality and multifamily professionals to create exceptional, eco-friendly environments,” says Jeff Smitley, LEED AP, president of Energy & Environmental Solutions. “Interiors from Impex help contribute points toward the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED rating system and the Green Building Initiative’s Green Globes rating system. And, with energy-efficient appliances from Whirlpool Corporation, these contributions grow even larger.”

As a single source for kitchen, bath, case goods and architectural door systems for hospitality and multifamily industries, Impex Development implements the designer’s vision while meeting the owner’s budget. Working as an environmentally conscious organization allows Impex to develop a vast array of sustainable and appealing interiors for a multitude of styles.

“Interiors from Impex are as sophisticated and beautiful as they are eco-friendly,” says Guy Minnix, director of contract marketing and strategy at Whirlpool Corp. “We’re excited about this partnership and seeing our appliances within Impex’s many diverse hospitality and multifamily projects.”

“Our partnership with Whirlpool Corporation allows us to offer customers even more possibilities, opportunities and options for their projects,” says Terry Thompson, CEO of Impex. “With six major brands and hundreds of Energy Star qualified products to choose from, Whirlpool Corporation shares our commitment to innovation, eco-efficiency and design flexibility.”
