NEW YORK—Hyphyn, the first-of-its-kind biodegradable vinyl designed for high-traffic hospitality, healthcare, education, and retail environments, makes its Fulton Market Design Days debut and returns to NeoCon at The Mart in Chicago, June 8 to 10. Across both shows, attendees can experience the innovative material firsthand and learn about its reduced environmental impact with new test results confirming its safety for incineration.

At Design Days, Hyphyn will exhibit within The Beaudega, where visitors can receive an exclusive crossbody bag crafted entirely from this sustainable material finished in a modern matte gray, showcasing its soft, refined texture and endless versatility. Attendees can also visit the Pallas Textiles showroom (1045 W Fulton St, 8th Floor) to discover the distributor’s collection of rich designs featuring Hyphyn.

Following the brand’s successful launch at last year’s NeoCon, Hyphyn returns to The Mart alongside its trusted distributor partners. Visitors can explore the brand across multiple showrooms, including Arc-Com/Stinson (355), Mayer (335), Momentum (323), and Wolf Gordon (3-100).

I-TEQ Toxicity Level of Less Than 0.001 ng/g

Reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility, Hyphyn will share recently published test results confirming its safety for incineration. Dioxin content analysis recorded an overall I-TEQ toxicity level of less than 0.001 ng/g, further validating the material’s environmental safety.

Innovatively engineered with a patented enzyme system and proprietary resin formulation, Hyphyn biodegrades by more than 90 percent within two years under landfill conditions, leaving no microplastics or toxins behind, nurturing healthy soil in the process. Hyphyn maintains the durability, cleanability, and comparable price point of conventional vinyl while meeting today’s eco-conscious standards.

“We’re proud to present Hyphyn at Design Days for the first time and at NeoCon alongside our valued partners,” says Iwan Nassimi, Executive Vice President of Nassimi, makers of Hyphyn. “We invite visitors to experience the material for themselves and see how innovation can help shape a more sustainable future without compromising performance or beautiful design.”
