NEW YORK—GROHE introduces its New Tempesta shower heads and hand showers, allowing users to personalize their daily bath experience through four distinct spray pattern options. GROHE’s New Tempesta, currently available in Cosmopolitan, Timeless and Authentic design motifs to complement a variety of bathroom faucet selections, blends three styles with high-performance function. The line also offers a range of four unique, adjustable spray patterns, including:
• Rain—A soft, delicate pattern mimicking soothing rain droplets for full and even coverage;
• Rain 0²—An air-infused, rich spray. Soft, individual drops are enhanced with air so they become bigger while water consumption decreases;
• Massage—A pulsating, “breathing” pattern that’s ideal for a soothing, rejuvenating head or shoulder massage; and
• Jet—A focused circular spray, delivering a refreshing burst of water.
“Showering can be a very personal experience that helps individuals to wake up with stimulating, pulsating water sprays, or, at the end of the day, to wind down and relax,” said Stan Nickell, senior bathroom product category manager for GROHE America. “The four spray patterns of our New Tempesta shower heads and hand showers are distinctly different experiences, allowing the user to truly tailor their shower according to their mood.”
Select Models Offer Reduced Flow Rate
As part of GROHE’s WaterCare program, select New Tempesta hand showers and shower sets feature a reduced flow rate of 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm), helping to reduce water consumption by up to 30 percent. GROHE has transitioned all bath faucets to 1.5 gpm this year. The New Tempesta shower line, including shower heads, hand showers and shower sets in three design styles, incorporates these GROHE “life-tested” shower technologies:
• GROHE DreamSpray—provides an efficient distribution of an equal flow of water to every single nozzle through advanced shower engines, to help ensure water efficiency and consistency;
• GROHE CoolTouch—an internal cooling channel that creates a thermal barrier between the hot water and the surface of the hand shower to prevent scalding; and
• GROHE StarLight—provides a deep, even-layered chrome finish for a long-lasting and lustrous surface that is soil repellent and scratch- and tarnish-resistant.
