ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.—Atlantic City’s casino/hotel leadership and the new trend toward “going green” will be among the featured programming at the Atlantic City Hospitality Trade Show, to be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009, in the Etess Arena of the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort. The “no charge” for admission annual trade show brings together casino/hotel buyers and vendors in the areas of food and beverage, hotel operations, construction, housekeeping, uniforms, and marketing/advertising. The exhibit floor, with more than 100 exhibit booths, will be open 9:30 a.m. through 3 p.m.

A presentation, “How to Green Your Company,” will be presented by EPA-award winner Harrah’s Entertainment from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. The Casino/Hotel Leadership Panel Forum, with leading casino/hotel executives, will be from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Those participating will be Augie Cipollini, Borgata; Kevin DeSanctis, Revel; Mark Giannantonio, Tropicana; Mark Juliano, Trump; and Don Marrandino, Harrah’s. Lloyd Levenson of the Cooper Levenson Law Offices will serve as moderator for the Forum.

One-on-one appointments with the purchasing buyers of the Atlantic City casino/hotels will be available to those exhibiting vendors in the Show.

Significant Purchasing Clout

“Atlantic City casino/hotels purchase more than $3.5 billion worth of goods and services from thousands of vendors each year,” said Howard Bacharach, executive director, Atlantic City Hotel & Lodging Assn. “This is a great opportunity to meet with the purchasing decision makers, and hear from the leadership on the future of hotel/casinos in Atlantic City.”

The Atlantic City Hospitality Trade Show is presented by Cooper Levenson Attorneys at Law, the Atlantic City Hotel & Lodging Assn. and the Greater Atlantic City Chamber. Sponsorships, exhibit booth space and advertising in the Show Directory remain available. Exhibitor services will be provided by AEX Convention Services.

The event is open to the general public. There is no charge to walk the floor of the Show. A walk ‘round luncheon will be available for purchase from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For additional information, or to reserve booth space, call (609) 345-8910 or e-mail info@achla.org.
