Sustainability, Wellness Addressed in Hospitality Design Expo & Conference Lineup
LAS VEGAS—The organizers of the HD Expo & Conference have announced the conference schedule. The overall event will take place April 26 to 28 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Numerous conference sessions will focus on either sustainability, wellness, or green design, and one will focus on Women in Design. The following is a summary of these sessions:

Lake Nona Wave Hotel Debuts with Smart Windows in Every Room

Tarkett Launches 2030 Climate Roadmap

Why Synthetic Grass is Gaining Momentum as a Logical Alternative to Its Natural Counterpart
NATIONAL REPORT—Last June, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak signed into law a bill supported by the Southern Nevada Water Authority that requires the removal of “useless,” or purely decorative, grass throughout the Las Vegas Valley by the end of 2026.
