MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA—Concept Amenities, a leader in the supply of environmentally responsible guest bath amenities, has named Catherine “CJ” Burgher as its new vice president sales Luxury Hospitality. Burgher, who had been West Coast sales manager at rival Molton Brown, will spearhead Concept Amenities’ new luxury sector and focus on direct sales of Luxury Collection brands to the 4+ star hotel market with exclusive licensed retail brand amenities.

“The expansion into luxury sales is not new to our company,” notes Gary Coward, president of sales at Concept Amenities. “We’ve created 4+ star luxury collections for over 28 years but this new sector will strengthen our ability to meet the comprehensive needs of luxury market customers.”

Coward elaborates that as the luxury hospitality market has changed over recent years, so too have the demands and requirements to service luxury consumers. Today’s affluent guests want authentic experiences; they don’t just want to visit a property, they want to experience it. The more eclectic the experience, the more that resort will stand out from other full-service luxury destinations. With luxury hospitality—it’s all about the details.

“We’re known, in the hospitality industry, for creating naturally better guest experiences,” says Coward. “With CJ’s extensive knowledge of the 4+ star marketplace we’ll be able to focus on creating those unique experiences that will assist our luxury clientele in maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction.”

Burgher, a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, has spent the past 20 years in the hospitality industry; most recently with Molton Brown. Previously she served as Western regional manager for such diverse companies as Lawlor & Company; Sunbeam; and HPI, to name a few.
