ELLWOOD CITY, PA.—The Energy Services Division of The Eric Ryan Corp. has been contracted to provide utility bill auditing and energy consulting services to a U.S.-based hotel management company with properties in the Caribbean Islands.
The Ellwood City, Pa., company signed its first international contract in June with Caribbean Property Group LLC. The company operates 14 properties in the Caribbean Islands, including The Palm Beach Aruba Marriott and Ritz-Carlton in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
“It has become very apparent that the energy crisis has catapulted the request for energy consumption and cost analysis to the forefront of business owners’ minds and the Caribbean is no exception,” said Chad Ubry, president of the Energy Services Division. “The Eric Ryan Corporation’s Energy Services Division is strategically positioned to assist and help impact the end user’s bottom line.”
Cost Savings Pursued
Engineers from The Eric Ryan Corp. are on site at the Caribbean hotels to start identifying areas where money and energy can be saved. The company will evaluate lighting, HVAC and water usage, providing recommendations for becoming more efficient in these areas. Detailed financial information (including annual savings, cost of the projects and payback analysis) will also be provided for each recommendation. Any applicable rebates and efficiency incentives will also be pursued on behalf of the client.
The Eric Ryan Corp.’s Energy Services Division has already started similar work for other hotel properties in the United States operated by several different management companies.
