Outrigger Achieves Green Seal Certification for Key Hawaii Hotels
HONOLULU—Premier beach resort brand Outrigger Resorts & Hotels has successfully achieved Green Seal certification for key properties in Fiji and Hawaii.
Outrigger is first in the State of Hawaii to earn the prestigious Green Seal designation as well as the first hospitality brand to achieve certification outside of the United States.

PoE Technology Just One of Many Resource-Saving Initiatives at Conrad New York Downtown
NEW YORK—One of Manhattan’s most prominent luxury hotels—the 463 all-suite Conrad New York Downtown—keeps pushing the bar higher for sustainability leadership in the Big Apple. Since opening in 2012, the hotel has maintained its LEED Gold certification, implemented numerous water-, energy- and waste-saving initiatives, and it just recently became the first hotel in the city and one of the first in the U.S. to utilize Power Over Ethernet (PoE) technology. MILPITAS, CALIF.—Imperalis Holding Corp., dba TurnOnGreen, Inc., announced that it has completed the installation and activation of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations at 18 hotels across North America, further expanding the company's EV charging network to address the rapidly expanding electric vehicle market. The projects feature multiple high-power, networked EVP700G Level 2 EV chargers that can be activated using the TurnOnGreen App, RFID cards, or a unique QR code displayed on each EV charger.

LNG Electric, MD7 Join to Add EV Charging Stations at More Than 13,000 Hotels
If their goals are reached, LNG Electric along with partner MD7 will give the U.S. hotel industry a significant boost in electric vehicle charging presence in the coming years. According to a press release issued this past week, LNG Electric and design firm MD7 will place Level 2 and Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) EV charging stations at over 13,000 hotels in the next five to six years.
