ClearWater Tech App Addresses Pool Purification

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF.—Now available for iPhones and iPads, the new iTunes App from ClearWater Tech greets users with a sliding bar calculator. On the far left side, it shows the yearly savings a ClearWater ozone system can produce for a 10,000-gallon capacity pool. Slide the bar to the right and the user sees the amount of yearly savings go up correspondingly as the capacity of the pool grows to 80,000 gallons.

As to the savings, the App’s calculator shows that they can range from $300 to $2,400 a year depending on the size of the pool. The App also cross-links 11 different ClearWater systems, each appropriate for the size pool being analyzed by the calculator.

Designed primarily to assist dealers with their sales presentations, the App also has facets that should appeal to commercial pool owners. A video highlights the system’s use and effectiveness for the Hyatt Hotel’s main pool in Kauai, Hawaii. Both videos point out the clearer, fresher, odor-free, healthier advantages of ClearWater ozone treated water as opposed to the use of chlorine.

Significant Amount of Time Spent on Development

“This kind of on-demand information is both helpful and overdue for our industry,” said Cameron Tapp, president of ClearWater Tech, LLC. “We’ve devoted a significant time to producing this App and I think it shows. Our research told us that people want to learn more so they can understand how our products can improve their way of living. In the palm of your hand, this App allows you to call up information. With it, any potential customer can make an informed and intelligent decision.”

Tapp said future App updates would cover their ozone air purification technology and EcoTex ozone system, which enables cold water to be used very economically and effectively for commercial laundering operations.

Requiring iOS 5.0 or later, the App is compatible with iPhones (3GS and later), iPod Touch (third generation and later) and all iPads. It can be downloaded for free at Apple’s online iTunes Store (www.apple.com/iTunes).
