WASHINGTON, IOWA—Brava Roof Tile, a leading manufacturer of authentic, high-performance synthetic roofing, announced a price reduction on its Multi-Width Slate Roof System, effective immediately. The move aims to bring composite roofing materials closer and more widely available and accessible across the A&D industry.
The adjustment reflects continued improvements in manufacturing scale, operational efficiencies, and supply chain optimization. Product quality, performance standards, aesthetics, and the brand’s 50-year limited warranty will remain unchanged. Brava is continuously optimizing for performance and expanding its market reach, improving its interactions with the full roof system, bringing the brand closer to its mission and customers.
“Our goal with the Slate price reduction is simple,” said Thomas Knuckey, Director of Product Management at Brava Roof Tile. “We want to pass through our internal improvements to make it easier for builders and roofing contractors to win more projects with a realistic premium slate system that offers a sustainable alternative to traditional slate that remains durable in extreme weather over time.”
Brava Composite Slate Roof Tiles are manufactured from recycled materials and are engineered to replicate the texture, depth, and appearance of natural quarried slate without the structural weight. The lightweight composition helps eliminate costly substructure modifications often required for traditional slate installations while also supporting easier handling and installation. Custom color options and blends are available to accommodate a range of architectural styles.
The Multi-Width Slate system is available in 6″, 9″, and 12″ widths. Engineered for long-term durability, Brava Slate tiles are Class 4 impact-rated and hail-warrantied. The product is available with Class A fire rating with an approved underlayment and is tested to withstand wind speeds up to 188 mph with standard nailing and up to 211 mph with high-wind screw installation. All tiles are manufactured under strict quality control standards to ensure performance in demanding climates.
