ALPHARETTA, GA.—After its North American début in New York City this May, the Axor Starck Organic Collection will be featured at Boutique Design New York 2013 (BDNY), November 10 to 11 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York. Philippe Starck’s fifth collaboration with Axor will be on display in Booth #509. The collection has many attributes that make it suitable for a wide range of applications, especially hospitality. And I started to work—not in another way, but rather looking at the same subject from a different point of view.”

The collection’s new faucets allow for water and energy to be used intuitively, ergonomically and economically. Water flow and temperature are controlled separately. Since water flow is more frequently used, the spout is positioned close to the water outlet, which allows for easy steering of the quantity of water and prevents over-splash. The temperature is regulated at the top of the faucet as it is less frequently used. Should one want to manually change the temperature, one can easily turn the top of the faucet for hot or cold options
