QUANG TRI PROVINCE, VIETNAM—Developed by Van Phu Real Estate Development JSC and operated by Lumina Wellbeing, Auko is guided by a philosophy of Conservation & Adaptation, creating an eco-lodge that works with nature rather than against it. The retreat features elevated bamboo walkways above historic flood levels, eco-tented lodge structures designed to adapt to seasonal water movement, and architecture crafted from renewable bamboo, reclaimed timber, and naturally ventilated materials.

The 30 eco-wellness lodges are thoughtfully positioned across the landscape in small clusters, nestled beneath indigenous planting. Developed in alignment with the IFC Building Resilience Index (BRI) and achieving EDGE Advanced certification, Auko demonstrates how hospitality design can respond to the realities of climate change while enhancing guest comfort and connection to nature.

Three Paths. One Journey.

Aukop’s all-inclusive experience is centered around three signature pathways, designed to meet guests wherever they are in life.

  • The Open Way—Auko’s signature all-inclusive stay available anytime, free and easy, self-guided and ideal for a restorative getaway. Every day is shaped by the guest’s own inner rhythm.
  • The Wild Way—a curated 3-night, 4-day, adventure-guided program with fixed start dates monthly (launching in Q4 2026).
  • The Still Way—an immersive 4-night, 5-day, wellness practitioner-led program with fixed start dates monthly (launching in Q4 2026).

All pathways include full-board dining at Origin Restaurant, where forest-to-table menus celebrate wild-foraged herbs, fresh river fish, seasonal produce, and the vibrant flavors of Central Vietnam.

Wellness Inspired by Phong Nha

Inspired by indigenous wisdom, native botanicals, healing waters, and the natural rhythms of Phong Nha’s landscape, Auko’s wellness philosophy is brought to life by Lumina Wellbeing through regenerative journeys that cultivate belonging, embodied presence, and deep restoration.

Guests can experience hydrotherapy journeys, sound healing, yoga, primal and somatic movement practices, and cave meditation, all designed to deepen connection with nature. Seasonal ceremonies, visiting practitioners, and curated retreats ensure an evolving wellbeing program throughout the year.
