MENTOR, OHIO—EYE Lighting International, a leading manufacturer of lamps, luminaires and related lighting products, has achieved recognition on the Designlights Consortium’s Qualified Products List. LED fixtures on this list may qualify for state and utility energy efficiency program incentives.
The demand for LED fixtures is growing at a rapid pace and utilities want to be assured they are purchasing high quality LED luminaires. The Designlights national list of qualified products provides the necessary information for energy efficiency program administrators to determine whether the LED luminaires they are evaluating qualify for possible incentives. The Designlights product list requires criteria similar to the ENERGY STAR program.
“As the DLC requires, we provided kíaroLED luminaire and LED data sheets, third party laboratory LM-79-08 photometric and INSITU test data, lumen maintenance reports and warranty information,” said Teresa Bair, LC, technical marketing manager for EYE Lighting. “We are pleased with the quick recognition of our new luminaire family.”
Manufacturers that qualify on the products list are considered for customer incentives from utility programs in the Northeast, Midwest, Northwest, Texas and California. Utility program administrators selecting a fixture listed on the list decrease the time they spend reviewing manufacturers’ data and they can be assured that the LED fixture is a quality product that will perform over its rated life.
