CHICAGO—NeoCon 2025 marks a momentous step for The Good Plastic Company’s trajectory in the North American market. Exhibiting for the first time at THE MART (booth #7-3053), the leading sustainable materials manufacturer will debut new and notable developments across its signature Polygood line—highlighting the Growth collection, newly earned Declare Label certification, and a collaboration with ergonomic innovator Humanscale at Fulton Market.

Rooted in circular design, technical performance, and visual impact, the company’s NeoCon presence underscores the expanding role of sustainable materials in the future of commercial interiors and contract furniture. “NeoCon represents a pivotal moment for us—it shows how much we’ve grown in North America and highlights the vast potential for scaling truly sustainable design,” says Dr. William Chizhovsky, Founder and CEO of The Good Plastic Company. “We’re not just presenting a material—we’re defining a new category. Our partnerships with leading furniture brands and presence at NeoCon prove that sustainable materials can compete at scale, offering consistency, impact, and beauty. This is the future of responsible manufacturing.”

At THE MART, visitors to booth #7-3053 will experience Growth, the striking new collection of eight Polygood patterns developed in collaboration with Gensler, serving as product design consultant. Designed for a variety of applications—such as tabletops, wash basins, countertops, vanities, flooring, and furniture—Growth draws from nature’s forms and textures, from bark and sediment layers to seafoam and leaves. Patterns include: Cliff, Oyster, Pebble, Midnight, Pumice, Frost, Gossamer, and Haze.

List of Environmental Credentials

The booth will also highlight large-format panels, curved and edge-finished samples, and material demonstrations that showcase Polygood’s technical and aesthetic versatility. Environmental credentials include:

  • Declare Label certified and Red List Free;
  • Cradle to Cradle Bronze certification;
  • Environmental Product Declaration (EPD);
  • VOC A+ rating;
  • Food safety certification;
  • ISO quality and environmental management standards; and
  • Fire-resistance certification in accordance with U.S. standards.

Composed of 100 percent recycled and recyclable plastic, including post-consumer and post-industrial waste such as refrigerators, CD cases, spools, and electronics, Polygood transforms hard-to-recycle plastics into durable, non-porous surfaces that resist abrasion and moisture. The material is thermoformable, customizable in color and pattern, and adaptable across diverse applications. With a Global Warming Potential of just 487 kg per ton, Polygood offers a climate-conscious alternative to virgin materials—delivering up to 13 lbs of CO₂ savings per square foot compared to the industry average, according to its EPD.

Beyond THE MART, Polygood will also be featured at Fulton Market Design Days in collaboration with Humanscale. The company will present the Float Micro, a compact, height-adjustable side table topped in Polygood’s Oyster pattern—a speckled white-and-beige blend from the Growth collection.

“Partnering with Humanscale and making our NeoCon debut signals real momentum for us,” said Diane Barnes, President, North America for The Good Plastic Company. “We’ve proven that recycled plastic can be as beautiful and versatile as traditional high-end surfaces—and now our goal is to bring these products to market at scale. This long-term partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability, and we’re proud to pioneer a new class of materials with a brand so deeply aligned with our values. Together, we’re showing what’s possible when design and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.”
