LONDON—Travelife Membership in Greece has seen a 20 percent year on year increase. Over 230 hotels are now working with Travelife to operate their businesses more sustainably. Greece continues to be a core market for Travelife’s tour operators. In response to this growth, Travelife has appointed Sotiris Milonas as Destination Representative for Greece. This increased presence within the Greek market helps to push the certification scheme forward, and enables Travelife to analyze destination level issues.

Milonas has been a Travelife auditor since 2011, auditing in over 10 countries, and has worked in sustainability for the past 20 years. He is a qualified civil engineer and holds an MBA with a focus on Environmental Management.
