TRINITY, N.C.—As ADRs slump in today’s difficult economy, guest satisfaction is more critical than ever. Research indicates that one of the primary drivers of guest satisfaction is a good night’s sleep—and, more importantly, guests will actually pay more for it. Sealy Global Hospitality will exhibit its newest sleep systems at HD Expo in Las Vegas at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, May 13 through 16.

The new Sealy Posturepedic Monogram Collection is the result of years of extensive research to identify uncomfortable pressure points. The innovative sleep systems utilize state-of-the-art pressure management components that help reduce tossing and turning, creating a better sleep experience for guests. They were designed in conjunction with orthopedic surgeons and reviewed by the Orthopedic Advisory Board to ensure an orthopedically correct design.

The Monogram Collection consists of three series—the 400, 600 and 800—each with three varying comfort levels, all designed for durability. The collection offers features and competitive price points suitable for moderate to upper-upscale hotels. All Monogram Collection sleep systems include a FlameGuard rayon fiber top and a 10/10 non-prorated warranty.

A Real Waste Saver

The Sealy Posturepedic Convertible Collection delivers a cost-effective way to ensure guest satisfaction by meeting the growing demand for greener products and services. While conventional pillowtops cannot be detached from mattresses, the innovative reversible pillowtop on the Convertible Collection mattresses can be easily removed, rotated or replaced with the use of VELCRO brand fasteners that adhere the pillowtop to the mattress’s core. Rotating and turning over the pillowtop allows for four different sleep-surface configurations, extending product life and lowering the total cost of ownership. Instead of replacing the bed every five to seven years, just the pillowtop can be replaced.

Environmentally, the Convertible Collection pillowtops will have a dramatic effect. Hoteliers could cut their number of discarded mattresses in half over a 15-year period. In addition, the refreshed pillowtop enhances and extends the life of a highly rated sleep experience.

“Sealy continues to push the bar higher with product enhancements and improvements because we understand how important it is to our customers, especially now,” says Joe Miller, director of hospitality sales for Sealy Global Hospitality. “A guest who can count on a better night’s sleep is more likely to be a return guest. Even in these challenging times, Sealy can help hoteliers find their competitive edge and build brand loyalty. The key is keeping the focus on the guest and on what satisfies him or her the most.”
