NEW YORK—Humanscale, a leading manufacturer of high-performance ergonomic work tools, has formed a partnership with Artemide, a world leader in high-end residential and professional lighting. Under the partnership, Humanscale will have the exclusive rights to distribute the new LED version of Artemide’s Tolomeo task light to the U.S. contract market. Already available with halogen, fluorescent and incandescent fixtures, the Tolomeo’s highly efficient LED version will be ready to ship to the United States in January.

Superior Energy Efficiency
The LED Tolomeo light features the same signature shade and adjustable arm that has become the Tolomeo trademark, but the newest generation offers superior light output and energy efficiency. It consumes just 10 watts of power while producing as much light as 75 watts of incandescent lighting.
The LED Tolomeo will join the Element light in Humanscale’s line of ultra-efficient LED offerings. Introduced in July 2009, Element has already collected a number of prestigious industry awards for its unique design and breakthrough LED technology.
