RIPON, WIS.—IPSO has added the IS275, a 275-pound washer-extractor, to its softmount on-premises equipment line. This efficient machine helps on-premises laundry managers to maximize productivity and minimize costs while providing consistently superior wash quality.

“We are excited to announce the expansion of our softmount washer-extractor line, designed to improve on-premises laundry operators’ productivity,” said Kathryn Rowen, North American Sales Manager for IPSO. “We strive to continually innovate and produce dependable, efficient and intuitive equipment that OPL managers can rely on to help them decrease utility costs, extend linen life and eliminate unnecessary labor expenses.”

The 275-pound washer-extractor’s super high G-Force extraction speed removes more moisture from linens to increase efficiency and reduce drying times by up to 40 percent. The standard inverter drive also smoothly transitions from wash to spin cycle to reduce machine downtime. These features contribute to increased throughput and can reduce utility consumption by up to 25 percent.

Without the requirement of being secured to a concrete foundation, the freestanding washer-extractor is easy to install for same-day operation and provides flexibility that allows for relocation and upper level laundries. The stainless steel frame, cabinet and suspension are designed to significantly reduce vibration and accommodate high G-Force extraction. The industrial design and features, including an extra-strong door hinge, increase the machine’s life span.

The new washer-extractor is equipped with intuitive micro controls, offering 99 different wash programs in 20 different languages to fit every on-premises laundry’s needs. A large door opening and optional pneumatic tilting make it easier for laundry attendants to load and unload the machine for increased throughput and productivity.
