NEW HYDE, N.Y.—Evolve Guest Controls announced that it has designed, developed, and implemented the single largest successful Z-Wave deployment of wireless lighting and energy management devices to date. This deployment of Evolve’s LCD Director Series Energy Management System is located at The Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The installation includes more than 65,000 devices residing in more than 2,700 rooms and suites.
Using Evolve’s LCD Director Series, each guest has the ability to wirelessly control each room’s motorized draperies/sheers, communicate privacy please/service room to housekeeping, activate various lighting scenes, adjust the temperature, and put the room into energy efficiency mode when the room is unoccupied. To further enhance the guest experience, each of Evolve’s LCD controllers can easily be changed to seven different preprogrammed languages.
Each of Evolve’s devices are built on an expandable platform. This allows for the future addition and integration with existing and new products and technology, and would enable its EvolveNet back office system to assist housekeeping, engineering, and the front desk to access all room information “in the cloud.”
Evolve plans on expanding upon its existing keycard system, Director Series, and EvolveNet products by introducing a Sensor Based Control System in the third quarter of this year. Evolve will be displaying this new system at the HITEC Hospitality Trade Show in Austin, Texas, on June 20.
